Diane Byun
Diane Byun is an Associate at Silver Miller. Her practice focuses on assisting individuals and businesses in complex disputes involving digital investments (cryptocurrency), business litigation, and financial fraud matters. Her practice draws on a multidisciplinary background spanning data privacy compliance, commercial litigation, corporate transactions, and consumer class actions. Additionally, she holds the certificate for CIPP/US for U.S. private-sector privacy from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Diane began her career clerking for the Honorable M. James Lorenz in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. She later joined Duane Morris LLP, where she advised clients on data privacy and commercial litigation matters, including data breach obligations, CCPA compliance, and complex contractual disputes. She subsequently practiced with boutique firms, where her work expanded to include transactional matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, and consumer complex litigation in state and federal court.
